New Partnership: Newstex

I'm happy to announce a new partnership for Straight Goods Media and Entertainment, with Newstex, a leading content distribution network. This will expand the reach of our articles and posts to new audiences; as Newstex pushes content to a number of high-profile mediums. This includes the feed on Amazon Kindles, Thompson Reuters, Postmedia Network, LexisNexis and many more high profile publications. The Straight Goods Monthly Recap

The next project by SGE is finally complete.

Let me introduce you to the Straight Goods Recap - a podcast styled show, which covers the best music we featured on the site every month, as well as music that slipped through the cracks.

As we pondered new ways to share our material with the SG audience, we were able to tap our newest member, "The Prince", who comes to us with a background in running a University radio show called Verses from the Abstract - http://www.radiolaurier.com/category/shows/verses-from-the-abstract/. This is definitely not his first rodeo.

We will be featuring this ongoing podcast/radio show in the right sidebar of Straight Goods Media. As always, send your feedback or ideas for improvement to info@straightgoodsmedia. We're always listening, as you should be.

Straight Goods Media Redesign

Let's face it, it's been far too long since we've had a new look on straightgoodsmedia.com, so it's about time we put some effort into a little redesign. With the help of local artist Graham Ruddy, we have created the new Straight Goods logo and custom wood paneling background. We felt that this shipping box of records fits with the ethos of SG well, as we aim to bring you a custom, high quality, look at the new material that's surfacing the media world. Below is the new logo, which you will be seeing reflected in all of our avenues shortly.

Expect similar projects to come as we explore new paths to take this convoy.
